Our story

A standard that is auditable — not just claimed.

Most fertility clinics claim quality. Kare Centre is one of the few that can prove it. ISO 9001:2015 is not a plaque on the wall — it is a live quality-management system that governs how every consultation is documented, every lab protocol is reviewed, and every outcome is tracked.

At the heart of Kare Centre is a modular, clean-room IVF laboratory that stays inside this building. Every retrieval, every fertilisation, every embryo transfer happens under conditions that are monitored, logged, and held to a standard that can be shown — not just described. There is no outsourcing, no partner lab, no handover.

The full ART toolkit is here — IVF, ICSI, IUI, TESA, vitrification, donor programmes, and surrogacy coordination — inside a quality system built specifically to protect the only outcome that matters: a healthy pregnancy.

Treatments

Eight pathways. One philosophy: the lowest intervention that still works.

From a single diagnostic visit to a multi-cycle ART programme — every plan is written, costed, and walked through with both partners. Alternatives are always named.

IVF embryology — a single embryo under the microscope
014 — 6 weeks per cycle

In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF)

The complete cycle — controlled ovarian stimulation, monitored retrieval, embryology in our own lab, and transfer with sustained luteal support.

ForTubal factor, unexplained infertility, advanced maternal age, prior cycle failure.
02Aligned to the IVF cycle window

Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI / IMSI)

A single, carefully selected sperm placed directly into each egg under the microscope. IMSI adds high-magnification morphology selection.

ForSevere male factor, low motility, prior fertilisation failure.
032 — 3 weeks per attempt

Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI)

A first, low-intervention step — washed and concentrated sperm placed in the uterus at the optimal hour of ovulation.

ForMild male factor, cervical factor, anovulation paired with monitored ovulation induction.
04Day procedure

Surgical Sperm Retrieval (TESA / PESA)

Day-care retrieval directly from the testis or epididymis when ejaculate is unavailable. Paired with ICSI.

ForAzoospermia, post-vasectomy fertility, obstructive cases.
Cryopreservation — vitrification storage for fertility preservation
05Stim + retrieval, 2 — 3 weeks

Egg & Embryo Freezing

Vitrification for fertility preservation — for medical reasons, for surplus embryos in a fresh cycle, or for life timing.

ForOncology patients, elective preservation, frozen-embryo transfer cycles.
Donor and surrogacy programme — coordinated, counselled, ART Act compliant
06Programme dependent

Donor Programmes & Surrogacy Support

Coordinated donor-egg, donor-sperm and surrogacy cycles, with full counselling and regulatory adherence to the ART (Regulation) Act, India.

ForPoor ovarian reserve, premature menopause, recurrent failure, medical contraindications to pregnancy.
072 — 4 weeks to a plan

Fertility Evaluation

A complete diagnostic workup — hormone panel, ovarian-reserve assessment (AMH, AFC), tubal patency, semen analysis, and where indicated, hysteroscopy or laparoscopy.

ForFirst visit. Couples 6 — 12 months trying without success.
08Day procedure to overnight

Gynaecological Endoscopy

Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy & hysteroscopy — endometriosis excision, fibroid management, tubal surgery, adhesiolysis. Day-care where possible.

ForEndometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, recurrent pregnancy loss workup.
Our laboratory

The embryology happens here — inside Kare Centre.

Outsourcing embryology to a partner lab adds a handover — and every handover is a point where control of your cycle leaves the building. Our clean-room IVF laboratory is inside Kare Centre. The embryologist who handles your eggs and embryos works under the same roof, under the same ISO 9001:2015 quality system, as the clinician who leads your care.

The journey

Six steps, from the first visit to the first photograph on the wall.

No two paths are the same — but every path follows roughly this rhythm, and every step is something we walk together.

01

First consultation

Visit 1

An unhurried visit. Your story, your history, your questions. Every detail is documented under the ISO 9001:2015 protocol — so the next visit picks up exactly where this one ends.

02

Investigation

Weeks 1 — 2

Hormone panel, ovarian-reserve markers (AMH, AFC), tubal patency studies, semen analysis. Imaging where needed. All results logged to your clinical file.

03

Treatment plan

Visit 2

A written, costed plan walked through with both partners. Alternatives are named. The lowest-intervention path that still works is the one we begin with.

04

The procedure

Cycle window

Whether IUI, IVF, ICSI or a day-care procedure — performed inside the Kare Centre clean-room lab, under the same quality system that governs every step of your care.

05

Pregnancy care

Months 1 — 9

First-trimester scanning here. Then either continued shared-care through delivery, or warm handover to your chosen obstetrician with full, documented records.

06

After the baby

Beyond

A six-week visit. Sometimes a photograph for the wall. Sometimes a conversation about the next one.

Dr. Krishnan Kutty chairs Kare Centre on a conviction that most clinics treat as optional — that the quality of every fertility programme must be auditable, repeatable, and independently verified. Patient voices

In their own words.

A small selection. Names abbreviated, quotes verbatim and shared with continued permission. Newer stories pending written consent.

We had been through two cycles at another clinic before coming to Kare Centre. What was different here was the transparency — every step was explained, every result was documented. We finally felt like we understood our own treatment.

Pending written consent Patient

The ISO certification seemed like a small thing before we arrived. After seeing how systematically every procedure is managed here, we understood why it matters. Our daughter is proof of what that standard means in practice.

Pending written consent Patient

Knowing the embryology happens inside the same building — that no part of our cycle is handed to someone we haven't met — was the thing that made us choose Kare Centre. That and the fact that they could show us the lab.

Pending written consent Patient

Every visit was unhurried. Every question was answered. The documentation they gave us after each appointment was more thorough than anything we had received at any clinic before.

Questions, asked openly

The honest answers we give every first-visit couple.

If your question isn't here, it deserves a longer reply than a webpage. Please call us — or book a first visit and we will spend the time.

How long does an IVF cycle take, start to finish?

From the first day of stimulation to the pregnancy test is about four to six weeks. Add two to three weeks before that for the planning visit and any baseline scans. We do not rush the preparation phase — it is the part of the cycle that most affects the outcome.

What success rates can I expect?

Success in IVF is meaningfully different for every couple — age, ovarian reserve, cause of infertility, sperm parameters and uterine factors all reset the number. Dr. Raghavan will walk you through realistic per-cycle and cumulative odds for your specific situation during the planning visit. We do not publish a single headline number because no headline number is honest.

What does treatment cost?

Costs vary by treatment (IUI is the most affordable, IVF with ICSI sits in the middle, donor and surrogacy programmes are the most involved). We hand you a fully itemised, written estimate at your planning visit — no hidden additions later. Discussing money openly is part of the work; please ask.

How should we prepare for the first visit?

Bring any prior reports — semen analyses, hormone tests, scans, prescriptions, operation notes. If your menstrual cycle is regular, we don't need a particular day; if it is irregular, please mention this when booking. Come together if possible. We meet both partners on the first visit.

Do you accept insurance or offer EMIs?

Fertility treatment is not covered by most Indian health-insurance policies; a small number of corporate plans do include it — please bring your policy document and we will check coverage. We offer staged-payment plans for IVF and ART cycles. EMI through partnered card programmes is available.

Is Dr. Raghavan involved in every procedure himself?

Yes. The clinic is owner-doctor led by design. Every consultation, every retrieval, every transfer, every laparoscopy is performed and supervised by Dr. Raghavan personally. There is no rotating roster.

What if a cycle fails?

We sit down afterwards — not on the phone, in person — and review every step honestly. Sometimes the answer is to adjust the protocol and try again; sometimes it is to investigate further; sometimes it is to consider a different pathway altogether. The next step is always a shared decision.

Do you treat patients from outside Kozhikode?

Yes — a substantial part of our practice is patients from across Kerala, the Gulf, and South India. We coordinate visit clustering so most of the monitoring scans can happen in a focused 10 — 14 day window.
